TANIKA E. BARBER

Hi, I'm Tanika E. Barber, also known as The InnerG Healer.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work in North Carolina and Georgia, Licensed Independent Social Worker- Clinical Practice in South Carolina, Holistic Healer, and Energy Healer.

 

I enjoy taking a deeper dive into guiding clients in protecting their peace, cultivate joy, improve relationships, embrace self-love, and the development of soul-care. 

 

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling from Empire State College and my Master’s in Social Work from State University of New York at Buffalo.

 

In addition to my formal education, I am an advanced certified Holistic Therapist, Trauma Informed Practitioner, Mindfulness Informed Practitioner, Yoga, Breath Work, and Meditation Guide (CYT-300), Level I Certified Sound Healer and Level II Reiki Practitioner.

As the Holistic LCSW, I specialize in Holistic Healing, which can be defined as the return to wholeness through the blending of practices of the mind, body, and soul.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). I received a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology with a Minor in General Education from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am passionate about advocating for minority mental health awareness and working with adults of all ages. I aim to create an open space that my clients find safe and that allows a healthy therapeutic relationship to grow. I am dedicated to empowering and educating my clients, and I believe we all have the inner strength and ability to repair ourselves.  In addition, I enjoy implementing mindfulness based interventions to reduce stress and increase emotional regulation.

Hi! My name is Danielle. I help individuals and families discover and develop the best parts of themselves while working through the difficulties of anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday obstacles. I'm a Charlotte, NC native, and I received my Bachelor's in Social Work from Johnson C Smith University, then attended The University of New England to obtain my Master's in Social Work. I have been a Child, Family, and Group Therapist since 2015. My experience includes working with individuals and families with varying diagnoses and with families experiencing homelessness and children with parents who have been incarcerated and have severe mental health and/or trauma. Therapy is not an easy journey. My professional and personal experiences have equipped me to work alongside you to address your mental health, set healthy boundaries in relationships, and work on goals to improve your lifestyle and well-being. Let's do this together.

I have extensive experience helping individuals with a wide variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, substance use, and a history of trauma/abuse (in childhood and adulthood). I am passionate about helping trauma victims become survivors through different therapy models, such as Narrative Therapy. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe environment for you to work through all of life's challenges in order to achieve your goals. My job is to meet you where you are and help you bloom into the individual you wish to become!

 I'm Laura Oates Pryor, a Licensed Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges. With a background in social work from North Carolina Central University and Saint Augustine's University, I bring compassionate care to diverse client systems facing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.

My experience includes working with individuals, families, and couples dealing with PTSD, trauma, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. I use evidence-based practices like CBT, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-informed therapy, tailoring sessions to your needs for a personalized approach.
