I’m Tanika E. Barber, The InnerG Healer, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and Georgia, as well as a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice in South Carolina. As a holistic and energy healer, I am also the Founder and Owner of MBS Therapeutics PLLC in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling from Empire State College and a Master’s in Social Work from State University of New York at Buffalo.

 

Beyond my degrees, I am an advanced certified Holistic Therapist, Trauma Informed Practitioner, Mindfulness Informed Practitioner, Yoga, Breath Work, and Meditation Guide (CYT-300), Level I Certified Sound Healer, and Reiki Master.

I am passionate about helping my clients achieve work-life balance, enhance self-care, embrace self-love, and boost their sense of self-worth. I created The Art of Self Reflection Journal to support clients in their therapy work outside of sessions and The Art of Affirmations, a coloring book filled with motivational sayings designed to inspire BIPOC women and promote positive vibes.

My approach focuses on building self-esteem and confidence, addressing anxiety and depressive disorders, healing from abandonment and trauma, and supporting at-risk youth and families through conflict.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). I received a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology with a Minor in General Education from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am passionate about advocating for minority mental health awareness and working with adults of all ages. I aim to create an open space that my clients find safe and that allows a healthy therapeutic relationship to grow. I am dedicated to empowering and educating my clients, and I believe we all have the inner strength and ability to repair ourselves.  In addition, I enjoy implementing mindfulness based interventions to reduce stress and increase emotional regulation.

Hi! My name is Danielle. I help individuals and families discover and develop the best parts of themselves while working through the difficulties of anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday obstacles. I'm a Charlotte, NC native, and I received my Bachelor's in Social Work from Johnson C Smith University, then attended The University of New England to obtain my Master's in Social Work. I have been a Child, Family, and Group Therapist since 2015. My experience includes working with individuals and families with varying diagnoses and with families experiencing homelessness and children with parents who have been incarcerated and have severe mental health and/or trauma. Therapy is not an easy journey. My professional and personal experiences have equipped me to work alongside you to address your mental health, set healthy boundaries in relationships, and work on goals to improve your lifestyle and well-being.  I'm Laura Oates Pryor, a Licensed Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges. With a background in social work from North Carolina Central University and Saint Augustine's University, I bring compassionate care to diverse client systems facing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.

My experience includes working with individuals, families, and couples dealing with PTSD, trauma, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. My name is Rasheedah Hope, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Counseling from Pillar College, and Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations in various settings, and a great appreciation for the adolescent mind. I specialize in individual, family, and group psychotherapy. My experience has allotted me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral needs. I am dedicated to working with individuals to address the impact of traumatic stress from early childhood experiences of relational, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse; as well as domestic violence, sexual assault and other traumatic events that occur in adolescence and adulthood. My approach is personalized and rooted with therapeutic interventions and techniques, designed to help you recover from past traumas and rediscover your inner strengths, tools, and confidence to overcome the challenges of life.

Hi! I'm Gabby, licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. Feeling stuck and repeating the same patterns can be exhausting. You might feel disconnected from yourself, yearning for deeper connections and stability. I specialize in EMDR and Lifespan Integration Therapy, focusing on self-esteem, identity, self-love, and relationships to help you feel more whole and confident.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with children, teens, families, adults, and seniors. This diverse experience has helped me develop a flexible approach to therapy, using different methods to offer personalized care. I've worked in various settings, including family therapy, with at-risk youth, primary care mental health, private practice, hospice, and child welfare. These experiences have allowed me to connect with many people, learn various tools, and deepen my understanding of the human experience.
